A lane of the A55 eastbound near Holywell that closed after a crash brought down a lamp post has now fully reopened.

Traffic Wales confirmed all lanes have been reopened and traffic has returned to normal on the eastbound carriageway between junction 32A at Pentre Halkyn and junction 33.

Lane 1 had been closed since the collision earlier this morning while roadside infrastructure was made safe.

A photograph from the scene showed a lamp post knocked from its base and lying on the embankment, with North Wales Police vehicles and traffic cones in place on the carriageway.
