Plans have been submitted to Flintshire County Council to create a coffee shop and retail unit in Mold town centre.
The application relates to a ground-floor property at 12 New Street, Mold.
The premises is currently occupied by Freedom Showers, which operates from the unit as a retail shop.
The proposal would subdivide the existing space to create a coffee shop alongside a retail unit, along with a replacement shopfront fascia sign.
The application has been submitted by Antony Ridges of Freedom Showers, with planning agent J10 Planning Ltd acting on his behalf.

According to the plans, the changes would take place entirely within the existing building, with no extension or increase in overall floorspace.
The internal layout would be reconfigured to allow the two uses to operate side by side.
If approved, the proposal would support two full-time and two part-time jobs, broadly matching the current level of employment at the premises.
A new fascia sign is also proposed as part of the scheme.
The sign would span the width of the shopfront and feature green, blue and brown lettering on a light blue, green and cream background. The sign would not be illuminated.
No changes are proposed to vehicle or pedestrian access, parking arrangements, drainage or waste storage, with all services remaining as they are.
Flintshire County Council will now consult on the application before deciding whether to grant planning permission.
