Woman charged with wounding after disturbance at Connah’s Quay property

A Connah’s Quay woman has been charged with wounding after a man was taken to hospital with facial injuries following a disturbance at a property on Bethel Place on Wednesday afternoon.
North Wales Police were called to the address shortly after 3pm on 1 April following reports of a disturbance.
A man at the scene had facial injuries and was taken to hospital.
His injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
Gemma Meredith, 40, of Bethel Place, Connah’s Quay, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of wounding, shoplifting and common assault.
She has since been charged with all three offences and remanded to appear at Mold Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday 2 April.
