Unlicensed driver’s vehicle seized after near-miss with police in Flint

North Wales Police officers made two arrests on court warrants and found drug paraphernalia on three people during afternoon patrols in Flint on Friday.
The north Flintshire neighbourhood policing team carried out high-visibility patrols at a location in Flint described by officers as a beauty spot, where three individuals were stop searched.
All three were found to be carrying drug paraphernalia.
During the same patrol, a driver nearly collided with a police vehicle while taking a junction too wide.
Officers noticed the smell of a burning clutch after the vehicle stalled on a hill.
The driver was found to have no driving licence and no supervising driver with them in the vehicle.
The vehicle was seized.
North Wales Police said officers would continue patrols through the evening.
