North Wales Police are appealing for information following a serious collision in Saltney.

Shortly before 6.11pm on Friday, 7 November, officers were called to a report of a collision at the junction of Saltney High Street and Park Avenue involving a white van and an off-road motorcycle.

The rider and pillion passenger on the motorcycle were both taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police say they are particularly keen to trace the driver of the white van, which left the scene following the collision.

Images of the vehicle have been released, though officers acknowledge that the quality of the photographs is poor. They are appealing for anyone who recognises the van or has information about its movements to come forward.

A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “We would be grateful for any assistance from the public. Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam or CCTV footage from the area at the time is asked to contact us.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact North Wales Police on 101, quoting reference C173199, or use the online webchat service via the force’s website.
