Stunning formation flight with a SWISS Airbus A320 and Patrouille Suisse at the Ski World Cup Lauberhorn this year.

Swiss International Airlines teamed up with Patrouille Suisse the Swiss Air Force equivalent to the Red Arrows for a stunning formation flight at the opening of the 2015 Ski World Cup in Wengen.

The video shows a downhill skier preparing for a race while an Airbus A320 is prepared for flight moving on to a breathtaking formation flight set to a backdrop of the majestic Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau peaks.

There a 30 different camera angles used for the video both inside and out of the Airbus jet and includes stunning footage featuring the Swiss air force squadron of six F-5 Tiger IIs.

The Lauberhorn Races are Switzerland’s biggest annual winter sports event, and are widely regarded as a highlight of the men’s FIS World Cup downhill skiing season.
