Roads to close across Flintshire for Remembrance parades

Flintshire will mark Remembrance Sunday on 9 November with parades and services taking place in towns and villages across the county.
Communities will gather to pay tribute to service personnel who gave their lives in conflict.
Several roads are set to close across Flintshire to support Remembrance Sunday parades and services throughout the county.
The closures will remain in place to support events held across Flintshire throughout the day.
In Connah’s Quay, High Street will be closed from 10.30am to 12.30pm, and in Hawarden, Glynne Way, The Highway and Gladstone Way will close between 9.30am and 12.30pm.
In Flint, Church Street, Chapel Street, Duke Street, Chester Street and Trelawny Square will be closed between 2.30pm and 4.30pm for the Flint Remembrance Parade.
Bagillt’s High Street will close from 12pm to 1pm, while Holywell’s parade will affect Whitford Street, Cross Street and High Street between 10.30am and 12.30pm.
Further south, Chester Road in Penymynydd will close between 2pm and 3pm, while Buckley will see restrictions from 9.30am to 12.30pm affecting The Precinct Way, Windmill Road, Mill Lane, Liverpool Road and Church Road.
Earl Road and High Street in Buckley will also be closed from 9am to 1pm, covering the B5444 from Pwll Glass Junction to the A541 Junction.
Hawarden Road, Sarn Lane, Castle Street and High Street in Hope and Caergwrle will be closed from 9am to 12.30pm for the Hope and Caergwrle Remembrance Parade.
Motorists are advised to check timings in advance and plan alternative routes where necessary.
Each closure is in place to allow local parades and remembrance services to take place safely, with roads reopening once events conclude.
