Police are appealing for witnesses following a fail-to-stop collision in Chester.

At around 6am on Monday, 3 November 2025, a blue Skoda was involved in a collision with a cyclist on Hoole Road, outside the Shell garage. The driver did not stop and left the scene.

The cyclist, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

PC Cooling of Cheshire Police said: “I’d urge anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken with police or has dashcam footage which will help us to identify the driver to contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101, or via the force website, quoting IML 2207250.
