North Flintshire Police: Three arrests made as officers respond to 70 calls in a day

North Flintshire police officers dealt with 70 incidents in the past 24 hours, according to a morning update from the local policing team.
Twelve of the calls were Priority 0 emergencies, attended with lights and sirens.
Officers responded to four domestic-related incidents, six concerns for safety, and nine reports of anti-social behaviour.
Three arrests were made in the 24-hour period, including one for robbery, one for domestic assault, and one for breach of the peace.
The update, shared by NWP North Flintshire on Facebook, explained that robbery is a serious but uncommon offence in the area.
Officers said: “We can’t jeopardise an investigation by revealing details, but we know the idea of a robbery can be concerning for the local community. For your reassurance, there is no wider concern in the community, and the person was arrested very shortly after the offence.”
The post also provided an informal explanation of how robbery differs from theft and burglary, noting that robbery involves the use or threat of force, while burglary involves trespass.
In total, 44 incidents were passed to officers for reports, with 14 recorded as crimes so far.
The update concluded with a light-hearted mention of police dog Arlo, described as “a good boy, who takes his job of keeping us all safe very seriously.”
