Man charged after attempted robbery at Queensferry Greggs

A 49-year-old man has been charged in connection with an attempted robbery in Queensferry.

Leon Langford, of Wirral View, Mostyn, is charged with attempted robbery and threatening a person with an offensive weapon after an incident alleged to have occurred at Greggs in Queensferry on Monday, 5 January.

He is also charged with five counts of shoplifting.

Langford was remanded in custody to appear before Mold Magistrates’ Court today, Friday 16 January, where he was further remanded to appear before Mold Crown Court on 13 February.
