Update – Road is back open.


Police are asking mototorist to avoid the A5119 King Street leaving Mold towards Sychdyn and the A494 after the road was closed following a collision.

North Wales Police tweeted:

Traffic heading into Mold is currently along the A5119 up the hill past County Hall., the outbound side of the road is currently closed.

Latest travel report say:

‘A5119 King Street (Heol-Y-Brenin) outbound closed, slow traffic due to accident between A541 / B5444 King Street (Heol Y Brenin) and Raikes Lane. Affecting traffic heading out of Mold towards New Brighton.’
