Delays begin to ease on A494 following earlier collision near Queensferry
Update: Delays are easing on the A494 in Deeside following an earlier collision.
The incident, which took place on the eastbound carriageway near Queensferry before the Asda turn-off, caused long queues back to the A55 at Northop Hall during the morning rush hour.
According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, the collision has now been cleared. Traffic remains heavy on the eastbound A494, but conditions are now largely in line with usual morning congestion levels.

The incident happened on the eastbound carriageway just before the Asda turn-off.
One lane is currently blocked while emergency services attend the scene.
Traffic is slow moving past the scene, with congestion stretching back to the A55 junction at Northop Hall.
Motorists are being advised to allow extra time for their journey or use alternative routes where possible.
