All lanes are back open on the A494 at Queensferry following the earlier four vehicle  collision on the westbound carriageway.

From earlier: 

One lane of the westbound A494 in Queensferry is currently closed due to a collision.

The crash involving three cars and a van happened at around 4.30pm, police and highways officers are on the scene and have closed one lane while they deal with the incident.

Long queues are forming back along the A494 past Sealand and over the border, there’s currently around one and a quarter miles of stationary traffic and delays are quoted at around 30 minutes.

One lane closed and queueing traffic due to accident, four vehicles involved on A494 Westbound at A550 Gladstone Way / B5129 Chester Road (Queensferry / Sandycroft Turn Off), congestion to A548 Shotwick Road / B5441 Drome Road / Green Lane East (Flint / Deeside Turn Off) and on A494 to A548 Shotwick Road / B5441 Drome Road / Green Lane East (Flint / Deeside Turn Off). Lane two (Of two ) is closed
