HGV driver to appear in court after A55 drink drive arrest

A HGV driver is due to appear in court after being stopped by police near junction 11 on the A55 last night.

Police said 57-year-old Olegs Markusonoks, a Latvian national, failed a roadside breath test before being arrested and taken into custody.

He has since been charged with drink driving and remanded to appear before Llandudno Magistrates Court today, Monday December 15.
