Flintshire parents offered ketamine advice drop in

Parents and carers with concerns about ketamine use are being invited to a monthly support session in Penyffordd.
The drop in is held at Penyffordd War Memorial Institute on the first Wednesday of each month between 6pm and 7.30pm.
It is hosted by a parent with family experience of ketamine and supported by young persons’ drug and alcohol teams Flintshire Sorted and In2change Wrexham.
According to the organisers the session aims to offer information, help, support and advice in a relaxed setting.
The flyer promoting the event says parents and carers who may feel alone or feel that no one understands are encouraged to come along for a cuppa and a chat.
The session is open to anyone seeking guidance or wanting to learn more about services available for young people who may be using ketamine.
Contact details for Flintshire Sorted are provided for families who prefer to get in touch beforehand or need more information.
