Fire crews called after car collides with house in Saughall

Emergency services have been attending an incident after a car collided with a house on Meadows Lane in Saughall, near Chester.

The collision was reported at around 12.20pm on Monday 1 December. Two fire engines, from Powey Lane and Chester, were sent to the scene.

Firefighters have made the vehicle safe by isolating the battery and stabilising it, and a safety cordon has been set up around the property.

According to Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service, the two occupants of the car are being closely monitored by paramedics with assistance from firefighters. Crews are preparing to carry out a full roof removal to release them safely.

No further details have been released at this stage. The incident remains ongoing.
