Fire breaks out at former Cefn-y-Bedd care home

Emergency services are in attendance at a fire in Cefn-y-Bedd.

The blaze is believed to have broken out at the former Gwasted Hall on Llay Road.

Fire crews were called to the scene at 7.44am this morning.

A spokesperson for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: “We are still currently in attendance at a fire at a building in in Cefn-y-Bedd near Wrexham.”
