Drink Drive arrest after man crashes car through a fence close to the Airbus factory

A man has been arrested for alleged drink driving offences this afternoon after crashing his car through a fence close to the Airbus factory.

The car appears to have rolled over as his careered down a grass embankment after it left the road.

The incident happened around 4.30pm this afternoon on the B5129 which runs past the aviation park behind the Airbus factory

The male occupant of the car was arrested for drink driving after ‘blowing 94’  – over double the legal limit of alcohol allowed.

Its not known if the man was injured as a result of the collision.
