A Deeside-based care provider has been shortlisted for a national award recognising excellence in the care sector.

Deeside Home Care Ltd, based in Flintshire, is a finalist for ‘Management Team of the Year’ in the eighth annual Caring UK Awards.

The awards celebrate achievement and dedication within the care industry across the United Kingdom.

Agency Owner and Manager Natalie Marshall said: “We are thrilled to have been shortlisted for an Award and are excited to attend the ceremony event in December. Whatever the result on the night, we are proud to have got so far. When we launched the agency 13 years ago we never imagined we’d be shortlisted for national awards, it is such an honour to be included. We wish the best of luck to all shortlisted teams.”

Event Director Dominic Musgrave said: “The Caring UK Awards are now in their eighth year and with more entries than ever before, our finalists really have reason to celebrate too as it’s a huge achievement to have made the shortlist and is testament to the teams behind each.”

The awards are organised by Script Events in partnership with industry magazine Caring UK, and supported by headline sponsor Virgin Money.

Up to nine finalists have been selected in each category, with winners to be announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday, 4 December at The Athena in Leicester.

The event will bring together care professionals from across the UK to celebrate excellence and innovation in the sector.
