Collision closes Parkgate Road in Mollington
A section of the A540 Parkgate Road in Mollington has been closed in both directions following reports of a collision.
Chester Police said: “At around 10.50am today, Friday 5 December, police were called to reports of a collision on the A540, Parkgate Road in Mollington, Chester. Officers are in attendance at the scene, and the road is currently closed in both directions and motorists are advised to avoid the area.”
A traffic report from Inrix states: “Road closed and slow traffic due to police incident on A540 Parkgate Road both ways from Townfield Lane to A5480 Countess Way (Blacon roundabout).”
The closure affects the stretch between Townfield Lane and the Blacon roundabout.
