Chester restaurant Noted earns Michelin Guide listing months after opening

A Chester restaurant has been included in the Michelin Guide just months after opening, with the listing coming at the first attempt for the Bridge Street venue.
Noted opened on 1 October 2025 and has now been recognised in the latest edition of the guide, which covers restaurants across Britain and Ireland.
The restaurant is run by chef Andrew Sheridan and business partners Sam and Emma Morgan, operating under the Open Restaurant Group.
The Bridge Street site was previously home to Da Noi, which itself held a Michelin listing, before being taken over and rebranded by the group.
Noted seats just six tables and serves a menu of small and large plates.
Andrew Sheridan trained at Michael Caines’ fine dining restaurant in Chester’s ABode Hotel before going on to open Restaurant 8 by Andrew Sheridan in Liverpool, which holds three AA Rosettes.
The Open Restaurant Group also operates Daise by Tony Parkin in the Wirral and Dishes in Prestatyn.
Andrew Sheridan said: “We are absolutely delighted to have Noted recognised by Michelin so soon after opening.
“This is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of the team, who have truly excelled from day one.”
A three-course set lunch is available at Noted for £45 per person, rising to £50 with a glass of wine or a pint of draught beer, running all day Monday to Thursday and for lunch only on Fridays and Saturdays.
Reservations can be made via the Noted website.
