Shotton: Pedestrian in 50’s receives multiple injuries after being hit by car.

A man in his fifties was hit by a car on Chester Road West at around 9:55 this morning, Wednesday.

The accident involving the man and a blue Astra happened opposite the Central Hotel in Shotton  

The road was closed in both directions as emergency services dealt with the incident.


A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said:

“We received a call at 9.55am today, Wednesday June 4, to reports a car had collided with a pedestrian on Chester Road West in Shotton. Two emergency ambulances attended, and a man in his 50s with multiple injuries was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital.”
