Chester Cathedral will host a candlelit concert on Saturday 4 October featuring the music of Radiohead reimagined for orchestra.

The performance by London Concertante begins at 7.30pm, with doors opening at 6.45pm. The concert will last around two hours including a short interval.

London Concertante, an internationally acclaimed chamber orchestra, will present a symphonic interpretation of Radiohead’s most iconic songs. The programme will span material from The Bends and OK Computer through to the experimental sounds of Kid A and In Rainbows.

Arranged for strings, harp, woodwind and percussion, the concert promises to showcase the rich harmonies and textures of Radiohead’s music in a new orchestral setting.

Organisers describe the event as “a journey through Radiohead’s finest work, bringing the magic of one of the UK’s most influential bands to your doorstep”.
