Out and about with the Deeside Ramblers this winter

Although winter approaches, Deeside Ramblers carry on walking whatever the weather. Every month brings a good selection of walks in a variety of areas including Flintshire, Cheshire, Shropshire, Wirral and Denbighshire.

Coach rambles can involve trips to Yorkshire and Lancashire. Longer stay trips have seen the group visiting the Lake District and the Cotswolds as well as other areas.

The length of walks varies to suit walkers of every ability from between 4 and 12 miles and can include an optional pub lunch.

Walks for November include the following:

  • 10am, Saturday 7 November, bus to Chester, walk back via coastal path, meet at Hare & Hounds, Connah’s Quay (7.5 miles)
  • 10am, Sunday 22 November, Hope Mountain, meet at car park near Old Castle Inn, Caergwrle, (8miles)
  • 10am, Wednesday 25 November, Mouldsworth and Manley, meet at bottom of hill below Goshawk pub. Optional pub lunch. (5 miles)
