Multi-agency response at Greenfield Docks after person enters water

A person was found safe at Greenfield Docks this morning after entering the water, with coastguard, RNLI, North Wales Police and ambulance all attending following a call from a member of the public.
North Wales Police said the person was located and is “now safe and receiving the help they need.”
Officers said the incident was brought to a safe conclusion in around 20 minutes.
The response followed Joint Emergency Services Interoperability procedures, known as JESIP, which set out how different emergency services communicate and work together at shared incidents.
“A quick response is crucial in incidents like this – and getting the right services to the right place can be difficult which is why we follow the JESIP principles,” North Wales Police said.
Under those procedures, services stop using service-specific jargon, agree a meeting point, and work through their options together before settling on a plan.
North Wales Police thanked the RNLI, coastguard, ambulance service and the member of the public who raised the alarm, as well as other members of the public who gave the emergency teams space to work.
