Mold’s popular Artisan Market will return this Sunday, 27th October, following the success of its debut event in September.

Hosted by Sunday Gathering CIC, a local Community Interest Company, the market will open at 10am in Daniel Owen Square and feature over 25 artisan stalls showcasing locally crafted goods.

Alongside the market, a display of classic cars will add a nostalgic touch to the event.

The Daniel Owen Centre will also be open throughout the day, offering hot drinks and cakes for visitors, as well as providing public conveniences

. The market, aimed at increasing Sunday footfall in Mold, has quickly become a highlight for locals and visitors alike.

Sunday Gathering CIC, the organisers behind the event, is dedicated to reinvesting surplus funds from the market into town improvement projects, working in collaboration with Mold Town Council.

“We’re thrilled to see how well the market has been received by the community and look forward to building on this success,” said a spokesperson for the organisation.

This weekend’s market will be the final event before a winter break, with plans to return on Sunday, 23rd March 2025.

From then, the Artisan Market will run on the last Sunday of each month until October 2025.

Local artisans interested in participating in next year’s events are encouraged to get in touch via email at [email protected], providing details about their craft and links to their website or social media profiles.
