She was due home from work at around 6pm, however never returned and has not been seen or heard from since, however her car has activated the Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) systems.

Detective Chief Inspector Steve Whittaker said:

“We know Michelle stopped at a shop in the Glossop area at around 3.50pm, and then her car was flagged up on the ANPR systems travelling west across the country.

“The last activation of Michelle’s car on the ANPR system was on Monday evening at around 9.25pm, in Llandudno in North Wales, and we believe she may be in that area.”

Officers are working closely with North Wales Police and have made extensive enquiries both locally and in Wales to try and locate Michelle.

DCI Whittaker continued:

“There has been no contact from Michelle and no sightings since Monday and we are extremely concerned for her safety and wellbeing. I would urge anyone who may have seen her or her car, to please contact police.”

Michelle is white, 5ft 5ins tall and of a medium build. She has short blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a black dress, a pink or red coloured cardigan with black tights and black shoes. She was also wearing a three quarter length grey trench coat.
