At about 7.10pm on Monday 17th March 2014 two young girls have been approached by a man jogging in Hawarden Road, (adjacent to Ash Path) in Hope who indecently exposed himself.

Police attended and a search of the area was undertaken. The search proved negative but inquiries are continuing and officers are appealing to anyone who may have seen a man matching the description in the area to contact them.

Investigating officer PC Phil Mathers at Mold Police Station said

“The man is described as aged in his mid to late 30’s, tattoos on both arms and neck, with shaven or short spikey hair possibly in a ‘Mohican’ style.   He wore a gold chain, black T shirt, dark jogging bottoms and was carrying a blue tracksuit jacket.  After the incident the man continued jogging in the direction of Fagl Lane.  If anyone has any information about this incident, or recognises the description I would like to hear from them.  Fortunately this type of crime is not common in the area however this is an opportune time to remind all in the community to report any suspicious behaviour immediately.”

Anyone who has any information should contact PC Mathers on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting references R039810.
