Greenfield Valley parkrun invites walkers to join this Saturday’s parkwalk day

News and Info from Deeside, Flintshire, North Wales

Greenfield Valley parkrun is welcoming walkers of all abilities this Saturday, 25 April, as part of parkwalk day — an annual event designed to encourage people to take part regardless of fitness level.

The event starts at 9am at Greenfield Valley, Strand Walk, Holywell, CH8 7AN, and is open to anyone, including those who have never attended before.

Participants do not need to run — the day is specifically aimed at people who want to walk the course, either alone or with friends and family.

Registration is free and can be completed at parkrun.org.uk/greenfieldvalley/.

Greenfield Valley parkrun takes place every Saturday morning at 9am at the heritage park in Holywell.

A junior parkrun for children aged four to 14 also runs on Sunday mornings at a nearby location.
