Flintshire records office are holding a workshop where you can learn about the maps they have in their archives.

Maps are a rich resource providing information that can help with house history, family history, buying a property and even legal boundary and access issues.

The workshop will talk about the type of maps the Record Office holds, show more about their history and explain how you can get the most use from them in your research.

The event is suitable for beginners and experienced researchers and takes place at Flintshire Record Office, The Old Rectory, Hawarden on Saturday 10 May from 11am to 1pm.
