Deestriders runners claim three personal bests at Mersey Tunnel 10k

Deestriders competed across three events over the weekend of 11 and 12 April, with personal bests recorded at the Mersey Tunnel 10k and members taking on events ranging from an ultra-distance race to a fell run in the Dee Valley.
On Saturday 11 April, Michelle Kerr completed the She Ultra in 5:38:06, with Jo Houghton-Davies finishing in 7:05:51.
The following day, six members ran the Llangollen Fell Race.
Fred Aird led the club home in the 6-mile race in 1:13:34, followed by Maria Evanson in 1:27:27, Claire Harper in 1:34:25, Amanda Scotter in 1:35:09 and Jane Blackwell in 1:37:25.
In the 18-mile race, Christine Cammillare finished in 3:19:45 and Nige Parr in 3:30:24.
Also on Sunday, twelve Deestriders lined up for the Mersey Tunnel 10k.
Paul Lewtey finished in 40:39, a personal best, with Andy Wainwright also setting a PB in 45:06.
Graham Bryan finished in 46:06, followed by Ann-Marie Fauset in 57:11, Ally Morrison in 57:14, Mark Hewitt in 58:32 and Abby Thurland in 63:57.
Angela Lucas finished in 64:15, a personal best, with Lauren Yare in 70:58, Louise Kirkby in 77:36, Sarah Sheen in 79:17, Vikki Foulkes in 93:46, Sue Bryan in 93:48 and Karen Waugh in 93:51.
The club has also launched its parkrun blitz competition, with bonus points available this month for members who ran at the Northwich parkrun event.
