Walks are between 60 and 90 minutes in length and finish with optional refreshments at the starting point.

Community Walks are aimed at people who would like to increase their level of fitness by the use of short walks. Walking in a group enables people to have

fun, relax, to control or lose weight and to feel independent.

The scheme is very successful and deals with hundreds of walkers a year but does depend on volunteers coming forward to support the scheme.

If anyone feels that they could spare a couple of hours a week they would be warmly welcomed by any of the groups in the Deeside area.

Walks are organised in Hawarden, Shotton, Higher Kinnerton, and Broughton & Bretton.

For further information or to have a look at one of the groups please contact
