Investigating officer PC Neal Lindskog said: ‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“Two men entered Prestatyn station just before 1pm and loitered for a short while before approaching the cycle rack. ‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“One of the men then proceeded to cut the lock off one of the bikes and attempted to board a train with it. As luck would have it, the owner was getting off the train at that exact moment and recognised his bike. ‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“He immediately challenged the man and managed to reclaim his bike before the would-be thief ran off the station. ‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“Enquiries have been ongoing and I am today able to release CCTV images of a man I would like to identify and speak to, as I believe he may have key information in relation to this incident.” ‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
