Sébastien Ogier will not be the only multiple world champion in high-flying action at this month’s Wales Rally GB.

Two of the biggest names from global mountain biking – elite athletes Kenny Belaey and Gee Atherton – will also be wowing the crowds.

Legendary trial biker Belaey, aka The Magician, has been at the cutting edge of his sport for than a decade.

To date his glittering trophy cabinet is home to no fewer than nine world titles, six World Cups and four European crowns.

The Belgian ‘daredevil’ is bringing his spectacular ‘Pedal to the Metal’ freestyle stunt show to the busy Rally Village in Deeside on Friday October 28.

Visitors to will be treated to eye-catching entertainment as Belaey serves up an incredible mix of two-wheel skills and tricks to conquer special obstacle courses including pipes, balancing beams, ramps and barriers.

Based locally in north Wales, the adventurous 31-year-old specialises in the daring discipline of downhill racing but, seeking more speed thrills, he has been trying his luck at rally driving in recent months when his busy international schedule permits.

The GeeMan now faces his biggest four-wheel test to date – he’s entering the WRGB National Rally which shadows the main event at the end of this month.

Ben Taylor, managing director of Dayinsure Wales Rally GB, is delighted that these two international mega-stars, both with huge fan bases and extensive social media followings, will be part of this year’s WRC show.

“It’s more great news for those coming to the Dayinsure Wales Rally GB,” he enthused. “I have seen Kenny’s show before; it’s absolutely stunning and the fans in the Rally Village and the RallyFest are going to love it. Both Kenny and Gee are massively popular extreme sportsmen, so their presence can only help to bring the excitement of the WRC to new audiences.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
