Update: Traffic has returned to ‘normal’ following earlier incident.

Earlier report: Several people have been in touch to say traffic is currently at a standstill through Shotton.

Reports initially suggest a man has been ‘knocked over’ close to Natwest bank.

However police have said they understand that the man was not hit by a vehicle.

Paramedics were called to reports of a man lying in the road.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson told us:

“We were called and treated the patient at the scene”
