A Wrexham venue is honouring the last 50 years of music with a line-up of top tribute acts.

The Eagles, Johnny Cash, Magic of Motown and Whitney Houston tribute bands are among those who will be taking to the stage at Wrexham Glyndŵr University’s William Aston Hall later this year.

Ulitmate Eagles are the first to arrive in Wrexham performing on Saturday, September 17.

The group have performed to over 200,000 fans, clocking up four million YouTube hits.

Over the years the band of seasoned professionals has spent time performing alongside Queen, Paul Young, Roger Daltrey, Lulu, Colin Blunstone and Thunder.

Also heading to Wrexham on October 1 is Elio Pace’s Billy Joel Songbook following his highly-acclaimed reunion concerts in the USA with Billy Joel’s original touring band.

Featuring the massive hits, Uptown Girl, Just The Way You Are and My Life as well as fan favourites such as Scenes From An Italian Restaurant, Goodnight Saigon and Piano Man.

On Saturday, October 8 Belinda Davids will bring her Whitney Houston Show to William Aston Hall.

In 2013 Belinda beat more than 15,000 singers to become the lead vocalist in new Australian showtime production The Greatest Love of All – The Whitney Houston Show.

Magic of Motown will be celebrating its 10th anniversary at William Aston Hall on Friday, October 21.

Revel in hit after hit as the huge cast marks a decade of continuing the legend of solid-gold artistes the Supremes, Temptations, Jackson 5, Isley Brothers, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Lionel Richie and more.

Rumours Of Fleetwood Mac, the world’s homage to the blues band, returns to Wrexham on November 10, offering a unique opportunity for fans, both old and new, to rediscover the songs and performances that have ensured Fleetwood Mac’s place as one of the most loved bands of all time.

No tribute line-up is complete without paying respect to the man in black, Jonny Cash.

Ben Welburn is to effortlessly recreate the sound, vibe and appeal of the master himself at William Aston Hall on Friday, November 11.

The line-up rounds off a great year of top tributes who have already performed at the venue including Absolutely Bowie, T-Rextasy and The Carpenter’s tribute act We’ve Only just Begun.
