Today see’s gap Connah’s Quay head up the north Wales coast and face Rhyl in a ninth vs tenth clash with vital points available.

The Nomads currently sit ninth in the league on 18 points, whilst Rhyl sit just behind The Nomads in tenth on 18 points, so whoever comes out on top in this match will no doubt prove pivotal in a push for the top six ahead of the mid-season split.

Rhyl have draw two and lost one in their last three games, they held both TNS and Bangor to stalemates, however, like The Nomads, were unable to keep Aberystwyth at bay.

The Nomads recent league record has seen a slight drop in form following seven games unbeaten in the league prior, having lost at TNS and at home to Aberystwyth in the last two matches.

The form guide going into the game reads as follows;

The Nomads – WDDLL
Rhyl – LWDLD

The game kicks off at 2:30pm from The Corbett Sports Stadium in Rhyl
