Motorcyclist seriously injured in Connah’s Quay smash on Monday evening.

A motorcyclists has sustainsed serious injuries after a collision with a car at the junction between Highmere Drive and Golftyn Lane in Connah’s Quay on Monday evening.

golftynEmergency services were called just before 8.30pm last night after reports of a collision involving a Renault Megane and a skyjet motorcycle.

Golftyn Lane was closed as police and paramedics dealt with the accident.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said:

“We were called at around 8.20pm last night, Monday 23 May, to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a motorcyclist.”

“We sent an emergency ambulance to the scene, and a male motorcyclist was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital.”

The motorcyclist sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision to call them on 101 quoting U074639
