Flint Lifeboat called out after person wanted by Police jumps in to River Dee

Flint Lifeboat was called out early this morning (Saturday 11th Oct) to help search the River Dee for a male who Police were chasing.

Flint Coastguard say they were paged at 4.45am to back up North Wales Police after a male they were chasing jumped over railings and into the water at Dock Road Connah’s Quay.

It was confirmed to the Lifeboat team on arrival at Connah’s Quay the male had been located and retrieved from the water and was in Police custody.
