A burst water main has affected drinking water supplies this evening to some households in the Queensferry area.

Welsh water say they have a team on site repairing the damaged main, the company hasn’t specified a time when water supplies will return to normal saying supplies “should begin returning to normal sometime later this evening.”

Welsh water also say when the water supply is restored people may notice discolouration to tap water, which is “normal in this situation and the water should clear when run from a cold tap.”
