The incident happened on Monday June 23 at around 8.45pm.

Pc John Sharp said: “Two men who boarded a train at Holyhead were ejected at Bangor after failing to provide valid tickets to a guard.

“They boarded another train shortly afterwards, but were ejected at Llandudno Junction for the same reason.

“While at the station, they were approached by station staff, at which point, one of them became abusive and threatening.”

Worried for their safety, staff called the police and the men left the station.

PC Sharp said: “We will not accept any abuse or threats of violence against staff or passengers on the rail network.

“As part of our investigation into this incident, we have studied CCTV from the station.

“I believe the man in the still we are issuing can help with our enquiries. I would urge anyone who recognises him to get in contact with us.”
