Police "incredibly concerned" after car found in search for missing Michelle Webster

Detectives searching for missing 48-year-old Michelle Webster from Sheffield have confirmed that her car has been found in North Wales.

Her Police found her silver VW Beettle at around 9.30pm last night, Saturday 13th December in the Colwyn Bay area.

Michelle was last seen leaving her place of work in Woodseats, Sheffield, at around 2pm on Monday 8 December.

She was due home from work at 6pm but did not return.

Officers continue to work closely with North Wales Police, who are making extensive enquiries in Wales to try and locate Michelle.

Detective Inspector Stephen Handley said:

“We are grateful for everyone’s assistance in sharing our appeal thus far. We have now found Michelle’s car in the Old Highway area of Colwyn Bay, but there has still been no contact or sightings of Michelle since Monday.

“We remain incredibly concerned for Michelle’s safety and wellbeing and I’d urge anyone in that area to report any possible sightings of Michelle to us immediately.”

Michelle is white, 5ft 5ins tall and of a medium build. She has short blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a black dress with black tights and black shoes. She was also wearing a three quarter length grey trench coat.
