Police are asking motorists to check dash cam footage following an ‘incident’ in Holywell yesterday

Police are asking anyone who was around the Pen y Maes Road and Bagillt Road area of Holywell yesterday between 3pm and 4.30pm to check their dash cam footage for any sign of a ‘disturbance’ they may have filmed.

It follows reports that three men were arrested in connection with an ‘incident’ yesterday in Pen y Maes Road.

Officers were called to a disturbance at 3.47pm they also say a female has been treated for minor injuries.

At the time police asked motorists to avoid the area.

North Wales Police Temporary superintendent Nick Evans said;

I’d like to reassure people that there is no risk to members of the public in the area.

A spokeswoman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said:;

We were called by North Wales Police at 4.07pm.

A rapid response vehicle and an ambulance attended the scene.

An adult female has been taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd with minor injuries.
