Police appeal for info after 6ft long model train set was stolen from a Deeside garden

Police are hunting thieves who stole a 6 foot long model train and carriage set from a garden in Deeside.

It was stolen from an address in Mancot Royal Close, Mancot Deeside between 11.45pm on Mondy night and 10am this morning, Tuesday June 28.

The model train which is 2ft high has a black and mauve engine with the name Peggy written on it, two black and mauve carriages with yellow and red hearts engraved on them and guard’s van which was attached to the end.

The set was on a black plinth were on a bolted down track.

Police say it would have taken at least two people with transport to steal the train set.

Anyone who with information is asked to call police on 101 . Crime reference  RC16094849.
