Police appeal for information after CH5 graffiti appears around Shotton and Queensferry

North Wales Police are appealing for information following a spate of criminal damageincidents  in Shotton and Queensferry where offenders have used black spray paint to spray “CH5” on walls and windows.  The incidents occurred sometime between the evening of Monday 19th January 2015 and the morning of Tuesday 20th January 2015. 

Properties damaged include John Summers High School, Glanrafon Training Centre on Chester Road West, Queensferry and a wall and fence on North Street, Shotton.

Inspector Ceri Hawe said

“The offenders  have targeted a school and a centre for vulnerable people. I am asking for anyone with information which will help us identify these offenders  to contact us. If you noticed anything suspicious, or have any information relating to this incident please contact North Wales Police by dialling 101 quoting references RM15000917/RC15009062/RC15009117 RM15000930.

Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously by calling Crimestoppers Wales on 0800 555 111. North Wales Police would like to urge residents to always report suspicious activity to them at the earliest opportunity.”
