Police have released a picture of man they are keen to speak to after over an allegation of sexual assault at Creamfields Festival in Daresbury, Cheshire during the August 2014 Bank Holiday weekend.

The victim is a woman in her early twenties from Scotland, who reported the incident to police after the festival had concluded.

The sexual assault is alleged to have occurred in a tent at the festival overnight between Sunday 24 August to Monday 25 August 2014.

Extensive enquiries have been carried out by Scottish Police and Cheshire Police following the incident being reported, as a result of which a man was arrested.

However, subsequent enquiries eliminated this man, and he was released with no further action.

Police are now keen to speak to the man pictured who may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The man is described as white, around 21 years of age, approximately 5′ 8″ tall and of medium build.

He had dark hair which, at the time of the festival, was shaved all over.

At the festival he was wearing a white short sleeved t shirt, and he had a chain around his neck with two rings on it.

He stated his name was Jaimie, and had a Scottish accent, and may be from the East Kilbride area of Scotland.

Police are asking the man, if he recognises himself, to make contact with either Cheshire Police or Police Scotland on the non-emergency number 101,

Police are also asking anyone who may recognise the man to make contact on the same number, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers hotline 0800 555 111.
