Connahs Quay: Police are appealing for a woman who witnessed a bike theft to get in touch.

Police are appealing for a woman who may have information about a bike theft to contact them.

Between 4.30 and 4. 40pm on Thursday September 18 a thief stole a black mountain bike outside the One Stop Community Stores at Connah’s Quay Precinct, High Street, Connah’s Quay.

A female member of the public approached the victim and asked if he was looking for his bike.

She went on to inform him that she knew the identity of the thief and named him as she got into her car.

However, as the victim was still in a state of shock, he forgot to ask the witness for her details.
