Local Inspector Dave Jolly said

“Operation Lythe was a complex investigation targeting the three men who were responsible for 21 burglaries across our force area between the May 2013 and April 2014. Locations of the offences included Gwynedd, Conwy, Denbighshire and Flintshire. In total they stole property in excess of £70,000 and now, following a 9 month investigation, they have received appropriate sentences. I welcome the message given by the court today and hopefully this will reassure the communities of North Wales that we will relentlessly pursue those who are intent on causing harm.”

Inspector Jolly concluded

The investigation into burglaries is a North Wales Police priority but it must be emphasised we still need assistance from our local communities to both reduce incidents of this nature and identify those responsible. It is worth reminding all house holders to be vigilant at all times, always ensure your property is locked and secured and if you see any suspicious behaviour contact police immediately.”
