Pensioner left with life threatening injuries after being struck by a van in Shotton.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision on Central Drive in Shotton which has left a 73 year old man seriously injured.

The incident happened at 18:45 on Saturday evening when the male pedestrian was in collision with a white Renault Traffic van.

As a result of the collision the man sustained what Police describe as ‘life threatening injuries.’

Police are appealing for anybody who saw the white van prior to the incident or the collision itself to contact them on 101 quoting reference R015433
