The Christmas Market at Coleg Cambria Northop hosted over thirty stalls including jewellery and accessories, face painting, glitter tattoos and refreshments. Children joined in the Santa trail and visited the man himself in his grotto. Animal lovers had the opportunity to meet some of the college’s reptiles, monkeys and four legged friends, in a tour of the small animal centre.

The Christmas Market raised an amazing total of £1,494.54 for North East Wales Hospices.

Coleg Cambria Deeside hosted a Christmas Shopping Event. Tickets included entry to the event and raffle, as well as festive refreshments. A variety of stalls were available including gifts, crafts, makeup, jewellery, clothes, toys and sweets.

A total of £717.84 was raised at the Christmas Shopping Event.

Coleg Cambria Marketing Coordinator, Nicola Moore said:

“We were delighted to see so many faces from the local communities at our Christmas events.  The hard work that the students and staff put into organising the events really paid off, ensuring that a fun and festive time was had by all.

“Our Christmas events were great for purchasing those extra special gifts that can’t be bought on the high street. We have raised a fabulous amount for North East Wales Hospices so far.”
